Oriane also completed a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Equine Medicine in September 2022 after 3 years of studying. Although Oriane is passionate about internal medicine, she loves all aspects of equine work including lameness and sports medicine. Oriane is an accredited Racecourse Veterinary Surgeon, assisting Matthew with covering racecourse duties at Southwell.

She loves to keep busy by running and walking with her dog Schweppes and exploring Nottingham as much as the countryside!

RUTH FOSTER

BVM BVS MRCVS

Equine Vet

Ruth graduated from the University of Nottingham in the summer of 2022 and joined Home Farm Equine shortly after in September 2022. Growing up in New Zealand allowed Ruth the opportunity to have horses and ride from a young age. This led Ruth to working on competition yards in both New Zealand and the UK for 8 years as both a rider and groom before deciding to study veterinary medicine.

Ruth enjoys all aspects of equine ambulatory work, and is looking forward to developing her skills in all areas.

Outside of work you’ll find her out running, playing rugby for Long Eaton WXV or out hiking in Scotland.
