Ordering Medication for your Equine

Most of the drugs that you will order from the practice are prescription only drugs meaning that a vet will need to review your horses clinical notes and approve the request. Due to this, we do advised that it can take up to 72 hours for a request to be processed, so please bare this in mind and give as much advance notice as possible when you are needing a top-up of medication.

To place a request please contact the office, where one of our team will note your request and submit this to your vet for review and authorisation.

For horses with long standing conditions that have not been seen within a 6 month period by one of our vets, a re-examination will be required. Whilst we understand this at times can cause inconvenience, this is to check that the best interests of your horse/horses are being met and that they are still on the suitable medication and doses for their condition.
