Matthew Barlow started the Home Farm Equine practice in 2007 having worked in the area for over 13years as an equine vet. Matthew combines working in the practice with racecourse duties at Southwell and Nottingham. He also takes the role as official vet at numerous BE events, such as Belton horse trials, Osberton and Oasby.
Sport horses are Matthew's forte but all horses and ponies come under his umbrella.

Emily joined the practice in October 2015 having previously worked for two and half years at Newmarket Equine Hospital. Since leaving Newmarket she spent 6 months travelling around the world and working for SPANA in Morroco. Before starting at Home Farm Equine Emily spent a few months as a locum at Oakham Equine Veterinary Hospital.
Marta Gonzalez-Paez Villagas

Marta joined the practice in November 2015. She qualified from Cordoba University in Spain then moved to England 6 years ago to continue her post graduate studies, spending some time working in busy equine practice in Derbyshire. Marta holds a certificate in veterinary accupuncture (IVAS) and is currently studying towards a veterinary chiropractic certificate (IVAC). Marta works part-time whilst running her own business offering alternative treatments for horses and pets.
James started working at Home Farm in October 2016 having graduated from the Royal Veterinary College. He has a keen interest in lameness and the competition horse as well as clinical research. James has presented research at multiple conferences. Growing up, he spent a lot of time competing his dressage horses at local venues.
Ine graduated form Szeint Istvan university in Budapest, Hungary. After that she has worked for 2 years in Fethard Equine Hospital in
Ireland where she has found her main interests are lameness and surgery. Ine joined the practice in February 2018.
In her spare time she enjoys going for a run with my collie Zach.

Toni joined Home Farm Equine in 2010.
Toni previously worked as a vet nurse in various small animal and equine practices around the country.
In her spare time Toni looks after her three horses which she occasionally competes at unaffiliated events when she’s feeling brave.
Cathy has been with Home Farm since January 2014. She grew up with horses, competing at local shows, and later worked in various yards before spending a year travelling in Australia and New Zealand.
Cathy enjoys spending time with her dogs Luna and Finn doing obedience training and taking them on long walks.
